Description
When properly trimmed, lamb bones provide a delicious, inexpensive base for soup and may be yours for the asking if your butcher, like most, throws them away. If not, take advantage of specials on leg of lamb and then either bone the leg before you cook it or save the bone from the cooked leg for use in soup.
